Bot Locations | Puzzle Piece Locations
Sky Garden is the first real level of the game. It’s essentially the tutorial world to help you get to grips with the gameplay in Astro Bot.
Due to this, most of the lost bots and the puzzle pieces are easier to find than they will be later in the game.
However, that doesn’t mean that some of them won’t be more difficult to find than others.

Sky Garden: All Bot Locations
Sky Garden: Bot 1 Location
The first bot is visible from the very start of the level.
It’s standing on top of a rock platform straight in front of you at the end of the brick path.
As you approach the bot, hit it with the ▢ button and you’ll rescue the bot.
This will be the first bot that you rescue as you won’t be able to progress without collecting it. When you capture it, you’ll also unlock the One Bot Down… trophy.
Sky Garden: Bot 2 Location
The second bot isn’t far from the first.
After rescuing the first, some new platforms will spawn allowing you cross over to the next section of the level.
The second bot will be clinging to a boulder just in front of the bridge you cross over.
Sky Garden: Bot 3 Location
The third bot is still on the main path of the level, so continue as normal.
Reach the area where you collect your first puzzle piece, after collecting it, grab and pull on the wire hanging out of the wall.
This will open up a bounce pad that you can use to reach the next section of the level.
As you bounce up, you’ll notice the third bot tied to the tree – you just need to hit the bot to free it.
Sky Garden: Bot 4 Location
Bot 4 is the first bot that is hidden away in a secret area.
After making the water slide appear and sliding down to the next area of the level, you’ll find yourself in a pool of water.
At the bottom of the pool is a holographic dome containing another spinner plant.
You’ll be able to pass through this dome and then spin against the plant to open up a portal to a sub-area of the level.
In this area, you’ll see a tank of water and inside is Bot 4 being chased by some fish.
If you head around the back of the tank, you’ll see a zipper.
Jump up and grab onto it.
When you’re latched on, you can pull down on the analogue stick and this will empty the tank of its water.
When the tank is empty, you’ll be free to go and rescue the bot.
Sky Garden: Bot 5 Location
Bot 5 can be found swimming in the pool in the second half of the level.
It’s following behind the line of turtles, but might be a bit hard to spot at a first glance.
You’ll still be able to attack while in the water, so once you’ve caught up to it you’ll only need to hit it to rescue it.
Sky Garden: Bot 6 Location
The sixth bot if found at the bottom of the water tank you need to swim through to get to the end of the level.
Instead of swimming up, like the game intends you to do, drop down to the bottom and you’ll find another holographic dome that you can phase through.
Inside the dome, there will be a few enemies to defeat.
The bot will be cowering on a platform next to the large rock.
Sky Garden: Bot 7 Location
The final bot is found just before the end of the level.
After you jump out of the water tank, you’ll be on a platform with two flower planters on either side of you.
The bot is stuck in the planter on the right.
Hit the planter an you’ll rescue the bot.
Sky Garden: All Puzzle Piece Locations
Sky Garden: Puzzle Piece 1 Location
You’ll find the first puzzle piece along the main path of the level.
After you’ve collected the first bot and crossed over onto the second stage of the level, along the left side of the area, you’ll see two sets of two coins indicating where to go to progress.
You’ll then reach a bounce pad.
From the platform you reach with the bounce pad, continue up the yellow ladder ahead of you.
Climb up the yellow ladder.
The piece will be guarded by two purple enemies. You don’t need to defeat them to claim the piece, but doing so might make it a tiny bit easier.
Sky Garden: Puzzle Piece 2 Location
The second puzzle piece is found at the pool section of the level. It is being carried by a flamingo circling a stack of logs.
The flamingo flies too high to get with normal jumps. Instead, there are two different ways to approach getting the piece.
The first is the intended way. By jumping and hovering over the wooden logs, you’ll cut them up making them movable by running into them.
By moving the logs, you’ll reveal a plug that you can pull. After pulling this, you’ll release a spurt of water that you can jump into to give you some additional height. With this height, you can jump across to the flamingo to collect the puzzle piece.
The alternative method is to grab the power-up from inside the octopus inflatable and use that to float up to the flamingo. This method will need you to be a bit more precise though.
Sky Garden: Puzzle Piece 3 Location
The third and final puzzle piece of Sky Garden is found in the large water tank before the end of the level – the same place you find bot 6.
In the tank is a school of manta-rays. The final piece is being carried by one of them.
The rays will be above where you enter the tank.
Swim up to find them and collect the piece.
