Persona 3 Reload – Death Social Link Guide

In Persona 3 Reload, the Death Social Link is an automatic link that will progress automatically as you make your way through the story.

As Pharos is an automatic Social Link, the options that you choose during your conversations with him don’t affect your progression.

Something unique about Pharos’s Social Link is that you don’t progress through each Rank of the Social Link in the same increments. You’ll actually skip a few ranks and jump forward multiple at a time.

How to unlock the Death Social Link in Persona 3 Reload

The Death Social Link will automatically unlock during the Dark Hour in 6/12, after speaking with Pharos.

Persona 3 Reload – Death Rank 2

There is no Rank 2 for the Death Social Link, instead, you’ll rank straight up to 3.

Persona 3 Reload – Death Rank 3

The Death Social Link will reach Rank 3 on 7/12.

Persona 3 Reload – Death Rank 4

There is no Rank 4 for the Death Social Link, instead, you’ll rank straight up to 5.

Persona 3 Reload – Death Rank 5

The Death Social Link will reach Rank 5 on 8/7.

Persona 3 Reload – Death Rank 6

The Death Social Link will reach Rank 6 on 9/12.

There is no Rank 7 for the Death Social Link, instead, you’ll rank straight up to 8.

Persona 3 Reload – Death Rank 8

The Death Social Link will reach Rank 8 on 10/6.

What do you get for Maxing the Death Social Link in Persona 3 Reload?

When you reach the end of the Death Social Link, you will unlock the ability to fuse Thanatos in the Velvet Room in your current playthrough, as well as all subsequent playthroughs.

Thanatos is the Persona that Orpheus transformed into during the protagonist’s Persona awakening at the beginning of the game.
