In Persona 3 Reload, the Sun Social Link is with a dying young man, Akinari Kamiki.
He knows his days are running out and he’s trying to find purpose to the life that he’s led.
Akinari can be found on a park bench at the Naganaki Shrine. He will be there every Sunday during the day.
How to unlock the Sun Social Link in Persona 3 Reload
To unlock access the Sun Social Link, you will first need to reach Rank 3 with the Hanged Social Link. During Rank 3, Akinari will arrive during your time with Maiko.
The next trigger is that you’ll need to have Koromaru join your party.
The final requirement is that you’ll need your Academics to be at least raised to Smart.
When all of these pre-requisites have been met, you can begin the actual task to begin the Sun Social Link.
When you speak with Akinari, he will tell you that he has lost his Red Fountain Pen. After speaking to him about this, you will need to go back to the Dorm and interact with Koromaru to obtain his Pen.
You should be able to achieve this on the same day.
Normally, if you attempt to return to the Dorm during the day, time will automatically pass to the evening. To bypass this, head over to the Dorm from the town map. When you’re there, open your fast travel menu and move to either your room or the rooftop.
You’ll be able to return here with passing time. When you’re there, just walk back down to the 1F Lounge to find Koromaru.
Once you have the Pen, return to Akinari and begin the Social Link.

When you reach the end of the Sun Social Link, Akinari will give you his notebook containing the finished story as a keepsake.
This will unlock the ability to fuse Asura in the Velvet Room.
