Persona 5 Tactica - Mission 5 Guide

Persona 5 Tactica: How to beat Mission 5

Mission 5: Rampart Infiltration

Mission 5 is a roundabout way of introducing a new enemy type: the Revenge.

Revengers are much sturdier than the enemies you’ve been facing so far, and they have a special trick up their sleeve with the High Counter ability. This means that they’ll retaliate against any attack they receive.

You’ll need to pay closer attention to your own positioning when these foes appear!

Luckily, their counter is also their greatest weakness, opening them up for a counterattack of your own to down them once they’ve made their move.

Joker’s Eiha was already able to do Area of Effect (AOE) damage, so by upgrading to Eiga, you’re still ablle to hit multiple foes, but have a greater damage output. The Riot Police weapon will also help with dealing more damage to wrap up the mission quicker.

Morgana does have that huge of a role to play in this mission, and his standard Garu skill will be more than sufficient. So, he doesn’t need any change in this mission.

Erina should get the Mosser weapon. While it’s not the most powerful weapon she can have right now, the added range the Mosser provides is a great benefit to this Mission and many ahead.

Unlocking Great Partisan for her will also now allow her to deal AOE damage as well, putting her on par with Joker for the time being.

How to beat Mission 5 in Persona 5 Tactica

Turn 1

Action 1:

Place Morgana up against the square of obstacles, on the left.

When he’s in position, use Garu against the enemy closest to him to sweep it away.

Action 2:

Move Erina as close to the enemy you just attacked with Morgana.

Once there, take aim and shoot it. This has a chance to kill the enemy.

You’ll get a One More and Erina should also deal some damage to the other enemy in the background.

Action 3:

With Erina’s One More, run to the back of the square of obstacles and stand beside the enemy you’d clipped with your previous gun attack.

Use a melee attack to knock this enemy back into the one behind it. This attack has a chance to kill your main target and knock the other enemy out of its cover.

Action 4:

With Joker’s turn, move to be within skill range of the enemy you just opened up with Erina.

When in proximity, use Eiga. This will kill the enemies and give Joker a One More.

Action 5:

With the final action you have, have Joker perform a melee attack against the enemy that hasn’t been touch yet this turn.

By using a melee attack, you can have Joker knock the enemy out of its cover and place yourself safely in its corner.

Turn 2

Action 1:

At this point, you may have two enemies left to deal with.

If you do, use Morgana’s turn to finish off the first enemy you attacked.

Otherwise, bring Erina around to be near where you left Joker. Here she should be in close enough proximity to attack the final enemy.

Action 2:

The final enemy should be on its last legs here.

Using either Joker, or Morgana if he’s available, shoot to kill

Upon killing the final standard Legionnaire, a new foe will spawn in: a Revenger.

Though you may still have an action to use, it’s best to end your turn here to prevent an attack next turn.

Turn 3

Action 1:

At the start of the turn, use Joker to shoot the Revenger. This will cause it to retaliate, which will let it be downed with another attack.

Action 2:

Use Erina’s Great Partisan against the Revenger, knocking it down and giving her a One More.

Action 3:

Use Erina’s One More to shoot and killing the Revenger, ending the mission.

Persona 5 Tactica - Mission 5: Cleared Screen (All Awards)

The awkward placement of the first set of enemies means that you’re likely not getting out of this mission unscathed. However, by using your abilities and knowing how different types of attacks affect enemies, you can whittle down the forces fairly quickly and easily.
