What you need to do?
This puzzle is the Devil variant of Chapter 8’s Revenge puzzle: Spouse Gets Vengeance.
No matter what the Duke will always be unwilling to shoot is wife. So, instead you’re going to need to make it happen unwittingly.
If you’re looking for a hint, it’s always best to experiment around with what and how the Devil will interact with the different scenes you’re given.
Seeing as this is a Devil level, it’s a given that something the Devil does will incur an inter-marital murder.

How to do it
Panel 1
Place a Witness scene first, and have the Devil stand behind the portrait.
Panel 2
Use a Ballroom scene and have the Duke see the demonic painting.
Panel 3
Place a Gun scene and have the Duke take the gun in fear of the painting.
Panel 4
Place another Witness scene and have the Duchess stand behind the portait.
Panel 5
Finish with another Ballroom scene and have the Duke shoot the portrait, unknowingly shooting his wife.
